ドンキーコング 初代風ドンキー 初代ドンキーコング DonkeyKong
The title character and main villain of the arcade game Donkey Kong, an early arcade hit for Nintendo. Mario has to fend off his barrels to rescue Pauline. This version would later become Cranky Kong.
In later games, such as in Donkey Kong Country, the name would be passed onto his grandson, becoming a reoccurring character in the Mario spinoff games.
He has had three different main appearances: the first was his original appearance, where he is often paired with Donkey Kong Jr. and portrayed as a villain; the second is often called his 'Rareware' appearance, which he received from Donkey Kong Country onward; his third and current appearance is an adaptation of his original, appearing first in The Super Mario Bros. Movie, Mario Kart World, and Donkey Kong Bananza.
