columbo

Columbo is an American crime drama starring Peter Falk as Lieutenant Columbo, a homicide detective with the Los Angeles Police Department. The show originally aired from 1971 to 1978 and was later continue in a series of special episodes from 1989 to 2003.

Unlike most crime dramas where the hero finds clues and discovers the real culprit at the end of the episode, the culprit is seen in the beginning of the episode committing the crime and covering their tracks which Columbo later tries to figure out and prove how the culprit committed the crime.
