A young person between infancy and puberty.
Use petite when the character is short but displays more developed physical attributes (e.g. wider hips for girls, wider shoulders for boys).
Not to be confused with aged down, which is for when a character is portrayed as younger than their usual age.
If the image is sexually explicit or sexually suggestive, use the loli or shota tags as appropriate (which are mutually exclusive with this tag). If you are not sure whether a post should be tagged child or loli/shota, ask in the loli / shota check thread.
