Officially known as the Canadian-American Challenge Cup, Can-Am was a motorsports series that ran from 1966 to 1989 with races in both the United States and Canada. The series was notable for having minimal regulations for car construction, leading many teams to develop bizarre racecars that used extreme aerodynamics or unconventional power sources to maximize performance.
