A flying wyvern from the Monster Hunter series.
The Ice Fanged Wyvern, Barioth, is a large white quadrupedal dragon that exhibits cat-like characteristics. It's very well adapted to the freezing environment of the tundra, where it preys on the Popo that live there. Featured prominently are Barioth's two large amber tusks, and its well developed forearms, adorned with large claws that help it move quickly across the ice. It is also capable of firing ice chunks at its foes that can cause severe cold.
First introduced in Monster Hunter 3, a brown subspecies better adapted to life in the desert was introduced in Monster Hunter Portable 3rd.
It's armor set is very popular amongst fans, being one of the most prominent after the Kirin set.
