baldr force

バルドフォース

A science fiction visual novel with mecha action gameplay in the Baldr series. It is the first Baldr game to feature a cyberpunk setting, where characters dive into a virtual reality world to conduct leisure, business, and military operations. This type of setting would become a mainstay feature of the Baldr franchise, with later entries building upon the VR themes introduced in this game.

Originally released in 2002 for PC, it received a rerelease with an updated soundtrack titled Baldr Force EXE in 2003, which received an all-ages Sega Dreamcast port in 2004, and a PlayStation 2 port with a new voice cast in 2005. The PS2 version was later ported back to PC as Baldr Force Standard Edition in 2007. A four-episode OVA adaptation of the game titled Baldr Force EXE Resolution was released between 2006 and 2007.
