alicorn (ace combat)

A super-submarine that appears in Ace Combat 7's DLC missions. Intended as a successor to the Scinfaxi-class submarines, Alicorn is larger and more heavily-armed, carrying two short-range railguns, a longer-range one capable of firing nuclear shells, a large air wing, and VLS tubes. Bizarrely for a submarine, she does not carry torpedoes. Her captain was Matias Torres, who went insane and believed that the only way to stop the Lighthouse War was to use his ship's nuclear capabilities to kill one million people to save ten million more.
