akishimo (kancolle)
Kantai Collection's personification of the Japanese destroyer Akishimo. Character designed by Fujikawa, voiced by Toyoguchi Megumi.
She is portrayed with short grey asymmetrical hair with a long left lock that gradiates to brown. On either side of her head, she wears a leaf hair ornament over her ear.
Her default outfit is the Yuugumo-class school uniform with a long sleeved white shirt under a purple pleated dress and a blue bowtie around her neck. Like Hayanami before her, she wears grey or purple seamed thighhighs instead of a pantyhose in her base form. Her damaged CG reveals she wears orange underwear underneath her uniform. Her rigging is the same as the rest of the class: her funnel and foremast to her back, a 12.7 cm twin handgun mount, and two 61 cm quad torpedo tubes on thigh straps.

History
The historical destroyer was sunk during a US Navy carrier strike on Manila alongside Akebono on November 14, 1944. Hatsuharu, Satsuki, Okinami, Kiso, and Nachi were also sunk in the same area.
