"88 doesn’t have an age as we do, in that she wont age, but as a grown synthetic she has a shelf life. As the others before her, she is created in the image of one girl, who was 19 when she died.

88 has been out there a long time, and coming to the end of her service. She has made the preparations to ensure 89 is ready to begin hers."
