Yu-bird is a female side character / creature from Sen to Chihiro no Kamikakushi. It is in it's true form a creature with a raven-like body and a head resembling that of its master Yubaba's. It initially serves as Yubaba's servant / spy. Throughout much of the movie it is transformed into another form referred to as "Haedori" / "Fly-Bird", with the head of a tiny bird, and the body of a fly.
It develops an affinity for and is often paired alongside Bou in his transformed mouse form and carries him around.
