Recurring sketch in episode 15 of Monty Python's Flying Circus, in which three cardinals with nice red uniforms appear unexpectedly in response to someone saying "I didn't expect the Spanish Inquisition."

- Cardinal Fang (Terry Gilliam), with a close-fitting red cap.
The most common Japanese translation for "Nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition!" is "まさかの時のスペイン宗教裁判!"
