Their first appearance together as a unit was on January 9th, 2015, as a 9th Idol LIVE Royale rival unit, before given their current name, which was revealed on January 10th, 2017, as a 21st Idol LIVE Royale rival unit in the mobile game Cinderella Girls.
Their unit names in order include:
Tropical Country New Year (南国ニューイヤー Nangoku Nyuu Iyaa) - Debut on January 9th, 2015, marking their first official unit appearance.
Plains Walk Dancers (プレーンズウォーク・ダンサーズ Pureenzu Wooku Dansaazu) - Debut on October 21st, 2015.
Arabian Dancers (アラビアンダンサーズ Arabian Dansaazu) - Debut on July 8th, 2016.
Sol Qamar (ソル・カマル Soru Kamaru) - Debut on January 10th, 2017. This is their unit name from onwards.
Their unit name is a mix of two languages: Portuguese and Arabic. Sol means sun in Portuguese, and Qamar (قمر) means moon in Arabic.
