After a massive breach occured which effectively caused the SCP to infect everyone, O5 uses a subtle amnesiac to make it seem as if this color perception was always the way it was, this earning this SCP the "Explained" tag and reclassification.
On Pixiv and NicoNico, this tag is used similarly to relay the concept of a shocking, world-shattering revelation affecting a character in some way.
