Kantai Collection's personification of the Japanese destroyer Sazanami, and one of the five starter ships. Character design by Drew, voiced by Hayasaka Kozue.
She has pink eyes and short pink hair in twintails held with hair bobbles. On her lower right waist is a round badge with a strawberry-like pattern. When heavily damaged, she is revealed to be wearing strawberry print panties. She has a tiny pink rabbit companion.
The 7th Destroyer Division (Sazanami, Akebono, Ushio and Oboro) all wear a variant of the Fubuki-class standard serafuku as well as dark green versions of the Fubuki-class ship parts and rigging.
She talks in random pop-culture references, memes and internet slang and refers to the Admiral as "master" as if she was a maid in a maid cafe (her new remodel CG emphasizes this point).
