Named after the Salians, the jumping priests of Roman mythology (or rather, an individual one). His name follows his dam name in the German tradition.

Japanese racehorse. Sired by Heart's Cry and foaled by Salomina. He is famous for his victory at the Asahi Hai Futurity Stakes and for being Contrail's rival in the classics, although he switched to the Mile afterwards.
He is also infamous for his heavy build, which makes him always looking overweight somehow, granting him nicknames like "Tissue Box" or "Cow-Horse".
