Veronica persica, commonly called Persian speedwell, is a flowering plant in the plantain family (Plantaginaceae). Other common names are: bird's-eye, birdeye speedwell, common field-speedwell, large field speedwell, and winter speedwell. Native to Eurasia, it exists invasively in Britain, North America, and parts of East Asia.

Its small flowers feature four short, sky blue or purple petals interspersed with thin dark blue stripes. The petals lighten to white as you get closer to the center of the flower. The flowers have two conspicuously protruding stamens.

Not to be confused with Nemophila, which has somewhat similar flowers, but unlike Persian speedwell, Nemophila flowers have five petals and five less conspicuous stamens.
