Recurring legendary weapon in FromSoftware games, first appearing in King's Field as Holy Moonlight Sword. It is a greatsword that glows with otherworldly green (sometimes blue) light, and can launch projectiles when swung.
- Armored Core has one in every series, starting from "LS-99-MOONLIGHT".
- Demon's Souls has the "Large Sword of Moonlight".
- Dark Souls has the "Moonlight Greatsword", associated with Seath the Scaleless.
- A replica called the "Bluemoon Greatsword" also exists in II.
- Bloodborne has "Holy Moonlight Sword", wielded by Ludwig the Accursed. There is also a replica, "Ludwig's Holy Blade".
- Elden Ring has the "Dark Moon Greatsword", bestowed by Ranni the Witch at the end of her questline.
