A character from the Mario series, he is one of the seven Koopalings that first appeared in Super Mario Bros. 3. Larry appears in numerous platformers, serving as a world boss in one of the first seven worlds and also appears as a playable character in spin-offs, including Mario Kart 8 and Mario Kart Tour.
Like his siblings, Larry uses his shell to attack and can be defeated by jumping on his head three times. He uses his magic wand to summon spells, though they are rather weak. In New Super Mario Bros. U, he can also summon water geysers to aid him. He is generally considered the weakest of the Koopalings.
Larry is depicted as naïve and somewhat childish, though he also can have a short temper. He cares alot for his hair, always brushing it and also has great admiration for his brother, Ludwig. He is the youngest of his siblings. Like most of the Koopalings, he wears spiked bracelets on each arm and has a mostly yellow skin complexion, as well as a green head. He is rather short and has blue hair resembling a cockscomb, a blue spiked shell and large fangs.
He is named after Larry Mullen Jr., the drummer for the Irish rock band U2.
