宮毘羅大将 宮毘羅 クンビーラ

A Buddhism protective deity and a member of Yaksha's Twelve Heavenly Generals. Also known as Kumbhira. He is often associated with the "pig" ("boar" in Japan) of the Chinese Zodiac.

Japanese syncretism deity Kompira/Konpira, enshrined as a patron of sailors in the Kotohira shrine, is named after/partially based on Kubira.
