He's a no-maj (American English equivalent of the British English term “muggle” i.e. a non-magical human) from the Harry Potter spin-off film Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them and its sequel. He is the love interest and eventual husband of of Queenie Goldstein and friend of the main character Newt Scamander who wanted to open up a bakery (and managed to do so in the end of the film) before having a run-in with Newt and being pulled into his adventure.
