Female Illustrator most known for her anime character design work in the early to mid 1980s. That her designs defined the first half of that decade would be an understatement. She provided the character designs for Leda: Fantastic Adventure of Yohko and Windaria; and for "Tales of" video game series. Worked with "Team Destiny" in the Namco Tales Studio. Inomata was also a prolific novel illustrator, known for her vivid watercolor paintings which often center around young women with wide, jewel-like eyes. Passed away on March 10, 2024. Her family never disclosed the cause of her death.
