Hiki-Furisode (引き振袖, lit. "extended swinging sleeves", "pull sleeves") is a formal type of furisode (振袖, lit. swinging sleeves) which has the longest "skirt" length of all kimono. Like the original furisode, it maintains the long sleeves. It is only used on special occasions and, specifically, as a bridesmaid costume during wedding events.
