A breed of large dog originating from Germany. They have tall legs, long bodies, floppy ears, and fur coming in various colors from solid brown, black, brindle, grey, or black-and-white spots.
Danny from Jojo no Kimyou na Bouken is a Harlequin Great Dane. Scoobert Doo, the eponymous character of the Scooby-Doo series, is designed after the breed as well.
