A fictional manned giant robot from the Gundam mechaverse. It appears in Gundam GQuuuuuux from 2025 and was designed in real life by Yamashita Ikuto.
gMS-κ Gundam FreD
The second Newtype use mobile suit of the Gundam GQuuuuuuX line developed by Zeon from technology tested in the Red Gundam and the GQuuuuuuX. It can be remotely operated by the Newtype pilot and is equipped with poweful beam weapons and funnels.
The GFreD is piloted by Nyaan.
The GFred has purple and green colors like those of the popular EVA 01 from Evangelion (also designed by Yamashita Ikuto). Its name is pronounced "gee-FRED", after the computer science metasyntactic variable fred.
