Deirdre serves as the cornerstone of the game's entire plot. Some time into the adventure, Manfroy abducts and brainwashes Deirdre, then presents her to Arvis; additionally, she is revealed to be King Azmur's long-lost granddaughter and Prince Kurth's daughter with Cigyun. Deirdre and Arvis are later married, unaware of their relation as half-siblings, and have twins together: Julius, vessel of Loptous, and Julia, vessel of Naga. Deirdre meets her end when Julius slays her with Loptous's power.
