An antagonist videogame character from Capcom.
He first appeared in the Final Fight game from the 80s, and in many other fighting games since then.
Axl is part of the original Mad Gear gang that terrorized the streets of Metro City. He is a very tall muscular bound thug who is able to defend oncoming attacks, unlike other opponents. He has shoulder-long blonde hair and wears a leather jacket, fingerless gloves, cowboy boots and a bandana. His design is a palette swap of Slash.
His name is a tribute to Guns N' Roses vocalist, Axl Rose. Apparently, some of the developers of Final Fight are fans of that band.
