あられ あられ餅 雛あられ
A type of Japanese cracker, square roasted pieces of mochi flavored with soy sauce. A variant of arare, flavored with sugar and called hina arare, is traditionally eaten on Hinamatsuri. It's considered as a type of wagashi.
